Bernard B. Freedman is a graduate of University at Buffalo and the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, in 1964. Mr. Freedman has represented and counseled many Erie, Niagara, and Orleans County School Districts and Municipal Clients for over 45 years. He advises clients on Board of Education issues, Financial Matters, Tax Certiorari Defense, Budget Planning, Contract Drafting, and School Business Operations.
Mr. Freedman is former President, Vice-President, and Member of the Board of Directors of the Erie County Bar Association; a former Director of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law Alumni Association, former President and Vice-President of the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo, former Director of the Volunteer Lawyers Project, former Chairman of the Committee of Professional Continuity and Admission to the Bar Committees, former Chairperson and Secretary to the Board of Ethics of the Town of Amherst, and former Member of the National Conference of Bar Association Presidents. Mr. Freedman was selected by his peers as one of the top two attorneys in the Education Law Field by Buffalo’s Business First Publications.
Mr. Freedman is admitted to practice in New York State Courts, the United States District Court for the Western District of New York, and the United States Supreme Court.
