
David Tinker is a Partner at Ferrara Fiorenza PC and represents school districts and BOCES clients in construction projects, commercial transactions, and contract negotiations. He works on large, multi-phase construction projects with a focus on modernizing facilities, improving energy efficiency, and generating cost savings.
In addition, David has extensive experience with projects funded under the NYSERDA P-12 Clean Green Schools Initiative, designed to improve the environmental sustainability of facilities by reducing energy loads, decarbonizing buildings, improving indoor air quality, and providing clean energy educational opportunities.
David brings to the firm years of prior legal practice and business leadership experience, having held executive positions in not- for-profit healthcare organizations and academic medical centers at SUNY Upstate Medical University and the Yale School of Medicine.
David began his career in private practice, representing interstate trucking companies from all 50 states before the Interstate Commerce Commission in Washington, D.C.
His first-hand executive leadership experience allows him to formulate proactive approaches for clients designed to anticipate and eliminate issues in capital projects before they sidetrack the schedule or negatively impact the budget.
