Attorneys in this position can expect to provide legal counsel and representation to school district and BOCES clients on their capital construction projects, including drafting architect contracts; construction management contracts, assisting with preparation of bid documents , assist school districts with bid awards; construction administration and close out of projects. Attorneys will also help to resolve disputes on capital projects.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will be a member of the New York State Bar, possess at least 3+ years’ experience in construction law, knowledge of the AIA Contract Documents, demonstrate strong writing and research skills, the ability to effectively communicate with and advocate for clients, and thrive in a collaborative, teamwork environment.
Salary:
The anticipated compensation for the experienced construction law attorney we seek, depending on experience, education and other relevant background and skills is $110,000 to $160,000.

Attorneys in this position will primarily represent and assist in the representation of clients in State and Federal Court, and administrative proceedings.
