As we enter a new school year, Ferrara Fiorenza is offering The Virtual Principal’s Academy, a nuts and bolts, “how to” primer for new administrators and refresher/update for veteran administrators.

These sessions will focus on practical skills to assist principals and assistant principals to handle day to day issues in compliance with law.

The October 18, 2023 session covers: Managing student discipline through principal agreements; Complying with Section 3214 notice requirements and informal conferences

• November 15, 2023: How to conduct a proper investigation, whether it’s a run-of-the-mill student infraction, a DASA complaint, or Title IX allegation

• January 17, 2024: How to write a legal and effective counseling memorandum

• February 28, 2024: How to hire staff in compliance with Civil Service Rules

Each individual session is $75 per school district, or you can purchase all five sessions for $350.
